Jillian Brown is a certified hypnotherapist and member of the National Guild of Hypnotists and the Oregon Hypnotherapy Association.
Her academic study of hypnosis came by way of a bachelor degree in psychology from Portland State University, which gave her a solid foundation in modern psychology and brain science, including common patterns of behavior and the influence of perception on formation of memories.
Following graduation, she pursued formal training in hypnosis from the Northwest Hypnosis Institute, completing its 150-hour program in 2011.
Jillian has also pursued studies in shamanic arts and energy work modalities, including Reiki and Reconnection, both of which influence her approach to healing. Jillian has completed a certificate in Process Oriented Psychology at the Process Work institute here in Portland. She continues to hone her craft as a hypnotherapist through a variety of workshops and continuing education classes.
After years of work as a hypnotherapist, Jillian has begun the journey of becoming a licensed marriage and family therapist. She is currently enrolled at Saybrook University.
