Video: Love your Tension and Discomfort

Our bodies hold tension, they get tight and uncomfortable. Held in this tension is an old belief and an emotion. Safety is an instinct that we carry with us from birth. All that we do is in an attempt to remain safe. Tension generally is connected to fear, doubt, and worry. We have fear we get tense. Imagine your tension as a little child who is afraid and just needs a little love and reassurance. Let your tension know that it’s ok; everything is going to be okay. Remind those places within you that you are safe and tell that child like part of yourself that they are loved, and then let the tension subside. If it’s still there continue to send love and reassurance to that part of yourself. The belief may be deep and need a lot of reassurance and that’s perfectly ok.
